2This website is designed for Caltrans staff who prepare and analyze travel demand model outputs. It provides an overview of the transportation planning process with an emphasis on the basics of travel demand modeling and forecasting. Each Caltrans district and HQ has its own customized web page with training modules based on actual projects constructed in TransCAD or CUBE using district-specific regional models.
